Approximately six years ago, Balu Shamdas was subjected to a damaging smear campaign. The campaign arose out of a breakdown in their professional relationship and was marked by unfounded allegations and misrepresentations.

Although these claims were circulated with the intention of undermining Balu's reputation, the reality is that the persons in question were themselves engaged in financial improprieties and sought to deflect responsibility by casting blame elsewhere. This attempt to shift focus away from their own misconduct created a narrative that was both misleading and harmful.

Despite the considerable personal and professional challenges that followed, Balu has consistently maintained his integrity and continued to act in good faith. Over the years he has rebuilt trust within his business and community circles by demonstrating transparency, accountability, and resilience in the face of adversity.

In addition to his professional work, Balu has long been an active parishioner at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in South Kensington. His involvement in the parish community reflects his personal commitment to faith, service, and supporting others.
